पुणे | कोरोनाच्या पार्श्वभूमीवर विशेष कामासाठी विशेष कार्य अधिकारी सौरभ राव यांची पुण्याच्या विभागीय आयुक्तपदी नियुक्ती करण्यात आली आहे. राव यांनी शुक्रवारी सायंकाळी मावळते विभागीय आयुक्त डॉ. दीपक म्हैसेकर यांच्याकडून आयुक्तपदाचा कार्यभार स्वीकारला.
डॉ. म्हैसेकर गेल्या सव्वादोन वर्षांपासून विभागीय आयुक्तपदी कार्यरत होते. पश्चिम महाराष्ट्रातील महापूर, दुष्काळग्रस्त स्थिती आणि त्यानंतर कोरोनाच्या संकटात त्यांनी परिस्थिती उत्तम प्रकारे हाताळली. सौरभ राव यांनी यापूर्वी पुण्याचे जिल्हाधिकारी, महापालिका आयुक्त आणि साखर आयुक्त या पदावर काम केले आहे. विभागीय आयुक्त कार्यालयात आयोजित निरोप समारंभास पुण्याचे जिल्हाधिकारी नवल किशोर राम यांच्यासह विभागातील अन्य जिल्हाधिकारी आणि इतर अधिकारी उपस्थित होते.
